I don't really care about how many teeth the clasp has, but the 90 degree rotation is indeed irritating if using the clasp to fold the mic back when not using it (I guess I could just remove it, but where is the fun in that ;) ). I think 120 degrees is much more natural angle for a headset boom and would allow ModMic to be flush with the headband, when folded back - currently it's impossible. I'm not sure how well a three-tooth clasp would work, though, so maybe increments of 60 degrees would be better (and more forgiving for installation)

Of course, the perfect solution would be to have the clasp for semi-permanent attachment (with a stronger magnet), but for repositioning, let the boom rotate freely using some kind of joint (which could be either between the clasp and headphone cup, or between clasp and mic boom). If the clasp retains the four teeth it already has, and the rotating join is between clasp and headphone, it could even be an in-place upgrade for existing ModMics. I have no idea how sound it would be mechanically, though.
