Mic monitoring
Zero latency mic monitoring. The only way I can think of this is to have the headphones plug into the microphone, then plug into the computer.
Headphones>--_____ --hjack
Microphone >-- --mjackI'm on mobile so I don't know if this will look right or if you will understand it. Also there is def room for improvement as I don't think this would work with an audio interface still, but would be better than nothing.

Braided cable
make a version of the mod mic with nylon braided cables, it would greatly increase the quality in terms of looks and feel (if not the actual cable quality), also great match with other high end peripherals

Background noise reduction
Mic needs serious background noise reduction feature. I don't know how it works but I've seen it advertised on other mics. I've got my modmic attached to headphones with open mesh and my friends in skype hear everything that comes through them.

XLR adapter with other mics
Using an XLR power adapter from Antlion, I was able to power an electret mic on an aviation headset. I had to make a short adapter cable to take the 6V from the ring on fhe 3.5mm XLR output and put it to the ring on the Avcom mic plug - ground to ground, of course. It works excellenty, with good audio reports.

XLR PLEASE! PLEASE!!!! I have a beautiful audio interface.... instead I have to use the crappy onboard mic input on my motherboard :(
The title says it all. XLR is long overdue.

Long Y cable with mute switch and volume wheel
Long Y cable with mute switch and volume wheel.
That way you could add modmic with a single cable for headsets with removable cables.
Think of it like a V Moda Boompro with a male plug for headset and a female one for the modmic instead of having the mic integrated into it.

XLR
Soooooooo... how about that XLR feature that you said we should be looking out for (nearly a year ago).... ModMic does NOT work for us prosumer casters who use high end audio interfaces. 3.5mm does not cut it!

ModMic to work with headset cable
My idea is making the modmic with different way. Not just for the hyperx cloud, but for other headsets like the ones that uses min xlr.
How to do that?
Basically, you make the mic act as a bridge. With one input (for headset cable) , and one output (going to the headset)1 vote -
Modmic that plugs into the Hyper x cloud 2 jack slot
the tether system for your mic to a set of headphones is great, i really dig how it works on all headphones. you should offer a better tag a long system for an upcharge

It's fine the way it is ATM.
It needs glitter. LOTS AND LOTS of glitter. Just kidding, As of right now, I think the ModMic is fine just the way it is.

Earbuds
You are forgetting the customers, who prefer earbuds.. :-)
Think also about lots of nomads working from noisy places, but need to make business calls.
Thanks
