One extra wind sock would be nice! My cats love them, unfortunately.

  5. Higher build quality please

Higher quality plastics in the mic housing. Perhaps a metal accent since we pay a premium price.

  6. If you can fully store and remove your mic in 10 seconds in that dumb case design then you need to be using those fingers for crime fighting

The night little pleather carrying case is cool and all, but it's kind of bitch to put the mic/wires in and take back out. Remove those stretchy bands for the mic side and instead give me little posts to wrap the long ass wire around on the other. This thing doesn't have to survive falling out of plane. I just need it to survive me not getting frustrated and ripping it out every time I convince myself to store it properly (which isn't often because of its difficulty) Meh or don't change it and then people won't store it properly…

Lols yes, we removed a strap from the case of the MM5 for this reason. I agree it’s (was) way too much work. But, confused here, have you experienced this new improved TurboQuickRelease3000SingleBand technology with the MM5 case?

  7. Even further improved mic quality

The ModMic 5 is a great device. I'd only say to improve microphone quality even further in the future.

  8. XLR adapter with other mics

Using an XLR power adapter from Antlion, I was able to power an electret mic on an aviation headset. I had to make a short adapter cable to take the 6V from the ring on fhe 3.5mm XLR output and put it to the ring on the Avcom mic plug - ground to ground, of course. It works excellenty, with good audio reports.

  9. It's fine the way it is ATM.

It needs glitter. LOTS AND LOTS of glitter. Just kidding, As of right now, I think the ModMic is fine just the way it is.

  10. Cheaper microphone

A microphone that is just used for talking nothing fancy just gets the job done. Also it should be cheaper people don't have money to blow away. This would definitely draw me I'm positive it would with others.

  15. Adding Braided Cable

Many gaming mice have gone to a "braided cable" for wear resistance. I don't know if that's a viable option for you, but I thought I'd mention it. Good luck!

  18. Make the mic detachable and sell extra cables and extra mic "heads"

If I have two sets of headphones on different computers in different places, and I don't want to disconnect the cable every time, I just want to take the mic off the end and take it to the other computer and then put it on there, and then I don't have to buy two mic sets. I know this means that you won't make as much money but it would make people like me ugh more happy.

  19. inform owners of a Creative Sound Blaster Recon3Di soundcard how to configure their Modmic

After being blown away by a YouTube review of the Modmic 4.0 Omnidirectional, I placed my order straightaway.
Sadly I am also the owner of a Creative Sound Blaster Recon3Di soundcard, which is an utter piece of crap. Windows did not pick up the Modmic through the front- or backpanel jack.
By messing around for an hour I found out that the Sound Blaster Pro Studio software controls audio device configuration and takes over Windows (10)!
In the Pro Studio software, in the Mixing tab, you select the jack where you plugged in the Modmic, and then the Windows device…

  20. Boom rotation and design

    two areas for improvements:
    1. the boom itself feels too short when used with my headphones. There's limited room on the back of the headphones where i can attach the mic, limiting the reach. I ended up extending the length of the boom by unclasping it from the attachment, but tried to keep the bend at the end as recommended. A longer boom would make it easier to maneuver and eliminate this issue.
    2. the rotation of the attachment is fixed at two angles. If a click rotation could be added to the attachment this would enable me to bring…
